LAFRAMBOISE TIMELINE: PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE

1964 Robert Laframboise founded the company in his garage as a residential plumbing, heating, and sheet metal contractor with six part-time employees.
1969 The business expanded with full-time employees and added mechanical and electrical divisions to serve industrial and institutional clients.
1976 Established a steel fabrication shop for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. Two years later, added a pipe fabrication facility.
1982 Robert and Doris Laframboise welcomed all three children---Michael, Lori, and Mark---into the family business full time.
1985 Acquired an additional pipe fabrication facility, expanding operations across North America.
1990 Opened a New York office, growing from 20 employees to 150 to serve major U.S. corporations.
2000 marked Robert's retirement after years of company growth across Canada and the United States, during which he established a strong reputation for quality service.
2001 saw the opening of the South Carolina office, which provided jobs for hundreds of local residents and contributed to more than 40 projects.
2013 Marked Laframboise's largest expansion to date, when Michael Laframboise acquired an 88-acre facility on the St. Lawrence River, providing shipment and delivery access by barge.
2017 saw the open shop division move to Bartow, Florida, to concentrate on southern markets, resulting in projects reaching as far as Texas and Louisiana.
2019 saw the grand opening of Laframboise's corporate headquarters under President Michael Laframboise. The company continues as a family-operated, privately owned trades contracting firm, now employing three generations.
